To leave a gift in your will, simply share this sentence with your attorney or financial planner:

You can multiply your gift—double, or even triple—with your employer’s matching gift program.

 

Check with your employer to see if they have a matching gift program for donations that employees (and sometimes retirees and spouses) make to nonprofits.
