Library Friends Matching Grants

Library Foundation Matching Grants Program

The LA County Library Foundation provides matching grants in an effort to stimulate creativity and innovative programming, service and fundraising events by Friends of the Library groups. The LA County Library currently has 77 Friends groups that provide invaluable assistance to our libraries by holding fundraising events such as book sales, sponsor and staff library events and help recruit volunteers. The Foundation is able to match funding for projects, up to $1,000, that are hosted by Friends of the Library groups.

In the Fiscal Year 2014-2015, the Library Foundation awarded $11,320 to 15 different projects.
